In this issue, we have our biggest cover star yet in the shape of Oscar-winning actor, Sir Ben Kingsley, who is perhaps best known for his part in Richard Attenborough’s 1982 epic Gandhi. Sir Ben spoke to us about his long career on stage and screen, the delicious irony that surrounded his name change from Krishna Pandit Bhanji, and why he raises a ‘cheers’ to a bust of William Shakespeare while taking a swim. This interview reveals the famous depth of character of one of the UK’s finest actors.

The next issue of CALIBRE Quarterly will be out on the 25th February by which time we will all have had one too many mince pies at Christmas, started our New Year’s resolutions, promptly given up on them, and somehow managed to forget Valentine’s day all in one fell swoop.
